About the Practice

Fifteen Hour Virtual Training on Zoom

As yoga teachers we are sought-after healers, and our students will come to us when they are in pain. It’s important to recognize we may have the tools to help with the pain and minimize the symptoms, but we are not healthcare practitioners and shouldn’t diagnose. We can help our students to make appropriate adjustments to protect and/or strengthen weaker or vulnerable places in their bodies.

In doing so, we can play an important role in their healing.

This a 15hr course for teachers and practitioners who want to increase their knowledge of how the asana practice can heal our bodies. This is specifically designed for yogis looking to understand alignment in the postures, how to work with props, and how to use the practice to heal and prevent injuries.

For teachers, Joan will help you improve your confidence by refining your skills to be able to read different bodies in class and adjust according to the individual’s unique imprint.

Each day we will explore a different theme and work from each platform.
